So sorry...I won't waste time with excuses about why I haven't blogged lately. You know how it goes. :) So everyone has heard the news by now. Mr. Patrick Swayze has lost his battle with cancer. It's so sad. I had to give a "WOLVERINES" shout out in his honor. You know you love "Red Dawn," too. ;) And...I'll freely admit it...I have "She's Like the Wind" on my MP3 player. Yep...it's true. And who hasn't uttered the phrase, "Nobody puts baby in the corner" at least once. Okay...more than once. And one of the funniest skits I've ever seen on Saturday Night Live was the one with Patrick Swayze and Chris Farley in a dance-off for a Chippendales spot. He seemed like such a great man. My heart goes out to his wife (of 33 years!) and family. He will be missed. Tragic news.
So don't forget to check out their blogs on the September 17th to get all the details on the contest! You won't want to miss this kit...it's a must-have!!
That's all for now. If you haven't seen one of Patrick Swayze's final performances...a cameo appearance as Velvet Larry in "Powder Blue," you should check it out. It's not the greatest movie but Mr. Swayze's performance was definitely a scene-stealer. He will be missed.
